Terms of Service

The agreement between you and YieldPulse. The most important clause — that we're software, not an advisor — is at the top so you can't miss it.

Service description

YieldPulse is portfolio automation software. We connect to your brokerage accounts through Plaid, read holdings and dividend schedules, surface drift alerts, and queue reinvestment recommendations against a target allocation you define. The service runs as a hosted web application and a daily email digest.

Not investment advice

YieldPulse does not provide investment, tax, or legal advice. Nothing on this site, in our emails, in our alerts, or in our dashboards is a recommendation to buy or sell a specific security. All investment decisions remain entirely with you. Consult a licensed advisor if you need personalised guidance.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of a jurisdiction where YieldPulse is permitted to operate. Self-directed brokerage accounts you connect must be in your name; you are responsible for the authority to grant YieldPulse read access.

Account & brokerage access

We connect through Plaid's read-only investment API. We do not store your brokerage credentials and we cannot place trades on your behalf. Revoking Plaid access from your brokerage immediately disables our data flow.

You are responsible for keeping your YieldPulse login credentials secure. Use a unique password and enable any additional protections we offer (passkeys, two-factor).

User responsibilities

You agree to: (a) provide accurate information during signup; (b) use YieldPulse only for personal portfolio automation, not on behalf of third parties; (c) comply with your brokerage's terms when acting on recommendations surfaced by YieldPulse; (d) review your target allocation and reinvestment rules periodically — the tool only executes against rules you define.

Limitation of liability

YieldPulse is provided "as is." We do our best to surface accurate data and timely alerts, but we do not guarantee that drift alerts, dividend schedules, or reinvestment recommendations are free of error. You assume responsibility for verifying any action before you take it in your brokerage.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YieldPulse is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You can stop using YieldPulse at any time. You can also delete your account and every record tied to it. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonable.

Paid services and the 14-day free trial

The Pro tier is a subscription service billed monthly ($12 USD) or annually ($99 USD) through Stripe. Prices are listed in US dollars; tax is excluded where applicable.

New Pro subscriptions begin with a 14-day free trial. No charge accrues during the trial; we bill Stripe at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then. You can cancel or switch tiers at any time from the dashboard or via Stripe's self-service billing portal.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep Pro access until then. We do not pro-rate annual subscriptions except in jurisdictions where a pro-rata refund is required by law.

Refunds

The Free tier has no charge. Pro refunds are evaluated case-by-case within 30 days of a charge — email yieldpulse-3@polsia.app with your account email and a short explanation of the issue.

Chargebacks opened instead of a refund request may suspend the account while the dispute is reviewed.

Changes to these terms

Material changes are announced by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Non-material changes (clarifications, typos) are reflected in the "Last updated" date below.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
